Learning to speak italian is a must if you plan to visit Italy, the Vatican City, San Marino, or the Vatican City anytime soon. As with any country you visit, it is always wise to have background knowledge of the official language in your destination. You may think it’s too challenging and time-consuming to undertake, especially if you will only be staying for a couple of days for business purposes anyway. But surely, you would at the very least be interested to find out how to say “hello,” “please,” “excuse me,” “thank you,” and “goodbye” in your destination’s native tongue, wouldn’t you? Learning to speak Italian is not that hard especially if you already know French and Spanish, so why not give it a go?
