An Ethernet Cable Tester Should Help

I don’t know much about computers and their set-up. My son is the whiz in this area. He set up a network in our home so all of our computers would work together and be able to share various devices. Everything was working out just fine until my son went away to college. I have been talking to him on the phone about the issues we are having. He instructed me to go out and purchase an Ethernet cable tester so he could help me further. Once I get the cable I will give him a call and he will walk me through the next steps. Maybe it would be easier to fly him home for the weekend.
