Held on the first Thursday of each month, Fashion First is Carytown's push for "one street shopping." Following the success of Richmond's First Friday's Art Walk, Carytown merchants are offering extended hours from 6 to 8 pm this one Thursday a month, providing customers with a unique shopping experience. Freedom and individuality is one of Fashion First's underlying themes. Each participating store is given the opportunity to plan whatever they choose for the event, whether a trunk show, special sale, in-store drawing, etc. Many merchants offer complimentary refreshments, as well. With 100% of Carytown apparel stores participating, Fashion First is a true community event. See you in Carytown!
