Starting a Scrapbook

To start scrapbooking, you first need the actual scrapbook and if you have the money, buy a Cricut machine and cartridges. You can make your own, use a photo album or visit a craft store and buy one ready made. Choose a color suitable for your content. If you decide to make your own you need poster board or construction paper cut to the size you want and then use a hole puncher to put holes on the side of the spine and use tags or ribbon to tie it. Then collect the items going into the scrapbook, photos may need cropping (use your Cricut cutting machine for more professional looking cutting). Arrange them until you are happy with the layout before you start gluing.
