Google PlaceRank is something Google created to incorporate your everyday events and outings link up with the information that only the internet can provides. Places that get a Google PlaceRank receive a barcode on the front of their establishment. When the barcode is scanned with a smart phone, with the PlaceRank software, then all the information from that establishment is pulled up in seconds. Although Google PlaceRank may not seem like a big deal now, soon place with be going cut throat for a PlaceRank barcode. It’s no secret that Google is ahead of the internet game, and knowing that they are endorsing a company or business, is more than enough for people to take note.
