    Finest High-class Hotels of Brighton

    July 24th, 2010 by admin

Nestled on the south coast of England, Brighton is a delightful town where seaside views meet chic and eclectic styles. Quaint boutiques for shopping, an old-fashioned pier and luxury hotels in Brighton with a trendy edge are what make this small place such a popular destination with both hip city dwellers and families alike. Experience true style and uniqueness when you stay at one of these four fantastic luxury hotels in Brighton, from unbeatable wine lists to the best party venues in town.1. Hotel du Vin BrightonTucked down a side street, the unusual boutique hotel is a mix of rather boutique hotel sydney style on the outside and warm, seaside charm once you step through the doors. Décor has a lovely chalet-style feel, with free-standing baths and whitewashed wood-work. The bar is just as welcoming, with huge leather sofas and books lining the walls, along with a billiards table on the mezzanine level. Fine wine is a specialty – there’s a remarkable 600 bottles from you to choose from! The restaurant food is as impressive as the wine, although it’s become so popular with the town that booking is essential.2. Blanch HouseKitsch but funky, Blanch House is owned and run by the ex-Groucho Club bar team and so appropriately has one of the best bars in the town where parties go on all night and a boho-chic theme to the decor. It’s also, however, pretentious and laid-back and full of traditional terraced house by the sea charms. In the excellent restaurant, service comes with more friendship than just a smile. There are only 12 rooms, so the intimacy of the service pervades the rooms, too, and each one has a pleasingly unique style.3. Drakes of BrightonWith the polish of an urban boutique hotel and the informality typical of a small town hideaway, Drakes is the perfect bolt hole for Londoners. Situated right in Kemp Town on Marine Parade Road, the location and sea views are both unparalleled. Housed in two Georgian townhouses, the architecture is also typically Brighton. Inside, though, the interior is contemporary and has Asian influences. The generous rooms are smart and sophisticated with red and white colours and plus facilities that include flat screen TVs, free-standing baths and Egyptian cotton sheets.4. Hotel PeliroccoThe home of seduction, this luxury hotel is a favourite with visiting rock bands and is perfect for a romantic weekend away – without, surprisingly, the soppy edge. Instead of pink frills, the kitsch and colourful Hotel Pelirocco has a delightful range of influences from cheeky cocktails (see the Absolut Love room) to 50s pinups. The clashing styles and colour schemes add a saucy edge but late night cocktails until 4am, games consoles in every room and a seductive room service menu offer more than a touch of distractions.
